BubblesO2 is Malaysia’s only naturally oxygenated mineral water brand, founded on a commitment to wellness and community. What started as a humble discovery during the construction of a modern Islamic education centre in Rantau, Negeri Sembilan has grown into one of Malaysia’s most promising health-focused beverage companies. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Selangor, BubblesO2 primarily caters to the health and wellness sector, providing hydration products that support vitality and an active lifestyle. The brand has since entered global markets including the United States, UAE, Brunei, and Indonesia, and has been recognised with the Superbrands Malaysia 2025 award, a testament to its strong market presence and continuous innovation.
As BubblesO2 scaled rapidly from a local brand into a multi-market exporter, its application and data workloads were still running on on-premises infrastructure, a setup unable to keep pace with the brand’s growing operational demands. The company needed to modernise its architecture to support greater agility, reliability, and scalability, without the overhead of managing physical servers. Being an existing Cloocus cloud partner, BubblesO2 trusted Cloocus to take the next step: containerising their workloads and migrating them to a fully managed cloud environment that could grow alongside the business.
Cloocus deployed a full Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) stack on Microsoft Azure, containerising BubblesO2’s existing workloads for cloud-native operation. The solution included Azure Container Registry for storing and managing container images, Azure Container Instances for scalable compute (2 container groups on Linux), Azure SQL Server (General Purpose tier with Zone Redundant Storage), Azure Key Vault for secrets management, and Azure Monitor with Application Insights for comprehensive resource monitoring and observability, all configured within BubblesO2’s own Azure subscription via Cloocus CSP.
By containerising their workloads on Azure PaaS, BubblesO2 eliminated dependency on on-premises infrastructure and gained a cloud-native environment purpose-built for growth. The move to managed services means lower operational overhead, no servers to patch or maintain, while Azure Container Instances provide the elasticity to scale compute on demand as order volumes surge. With over 200% increase in demand and active expansion into new global markets, having a flexible, observable, and scalable cloud platform positions BubblesO2’s tech infrastructure to match the ambition of the brand itself. Azure Monitor ensures the team has full visibility into system health, supporting uptime for a product that is rapidly becoming a household name.
