1. Company Intro

MobileOne Technology is a Malaysia-based technology company providing mobility and digital solutions for consumer goods and FMCG businesses across Malaysia and the ASEAN region. Its platform helps FMCG companies manage sales, distribution, inventory, and field operations more effectively.

2. Challenge

MobileOne’s existing QlikView-based analytics environment was becoming increasingly difficult to scale as data volumes and business requirements expanded. Slow data refresh cycles, complex data transformation processes, and limited automation made it challenging to deliver timely and reliable insights across multiple customer environments.

3. Solution

Cloocus modernized MobileOne’s data platform using Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks. The new platform was designed around a Bronze–Silver–Gold Medallion Architecture, enabling automated data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting.
Reusable and parameterized pipelines were implemented to support multiple data sources and customer environments, while centralized governance improved data consistency, traceability, and operational control. Cloocus also provided knowledge transfer to help MobileOne’s engineering team manage and expand the platform independently.

4. Benefit / Results

The new platform provides MobileOne with a scalable and governed foundation for analytics and future AI initiatives. Automated data pipelines reduce manual processing, improve data reliability, and enable faster access to business insights. The architecture also makes it easier to onboard new customers and data sources, supporting MobileOne’s continued growth across the FMCG sector.
